FAQ - Creating Tomorrow Lottery

How does The Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s Creating Tomorrow Community Lottery work?
The 50/50 administered by The Ottawa Hospital Foundation is a licensed raffle governed by the AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario), where individuals purchase tickets for the opportunity to win 50% of the total money raised through the sale of 50/50 tickets for that game.

Where does the other 50% of the jackpot go?
The other 50% of the jackpot (minus permitted program expenses related to running the draw) goes to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, to help push new discoveries and treatments forward, to equip their team with the latest technology and equipment, and to ensure that patients receive the very best care at The Ottawa Hospital.
